Book 3: Grandpa, Tell Us About the Good Old Days: Animal Farm

Animal Farm is a heartwarming children's picture book that gently unfolds the story of growing up on a small farm in northern Minnesota. Narrated by a nostalgic grandfather, the story follows his memories as a young boy learning responsibility through everyday chores. As Grandpa tells his story to his grandchildren while they sit beside a crackling fireplace, the tale becomes a bridge across generations—a reminder of the simple joys of caring for animals, the value of hard work, and the deep bond between family and the land.
